The set features a miniature replica of a traditional turf cart loaded with 24 turf sods, accompanied by a detailed Irish Sleán—the specialised spade used for cutting turf from the bog for centuries.

Using the latest 3D Printing technology to recreate an authentic wooden cart, used to carry Turf from the bogs to homes, usually pulled by donkey. We have recreated this in miniature in brown and black PLA to give that authentic feel of the hard work and history behind every turf sod cut by hand and hauled for miles.

This truly unique spade was made for the sole purpose of cutting turf from the bogs into nice even rectangular blocks, easy to stack and carry. The spade came in many styles, but unique with the angular blade and long slender blade, it made easy work of cutting solid turf blocks from the ground.

Produced entirely on our farmland in Silverbridge in the Heart of South Armagh, you can recreate the smell of rural Ireland in your own home without even owning a fireplace!
With our Incense turf sods placed on the Slate burner and ignited, you will soon be transported back to the old Irish cottages, where warmth and cooking of food were provided by the open fire and sods of turf burning within.
This incense has been specially designed to be easy to ignite with a lasting smoulder that will fill the room with the distinctive smell of an open turf fire.
Each turf sod should burn for approx. 35-45 minutes.

Slates are hand cut and vary slightly in size from 8cm - 10cm in length, or roughly the size of a credit card, each sod varies from 3cm - 5cm. They are natural products and will vary in size, shape and performance when burned.
Average Slate dimensions are: 80mm x 55mm
