Bought as present for an Irish friend living 000s of miles from the Emerald Isles & who very much misses her family's peat fires.

Smells like a campfire in the woods after the rain. Like damp wood. It's a good smell. I like it. Especially suited to rainy days. I should have warned my daughter tho- she thought the house was on fire. 😆 hahaha! We had a good laugh. I've always wondered what it smelled like.

Love this when I light it it reminds me so much of my dad who was from Ireland it also reminds me so much of the time I spent in Ireland

I am a sucker for a tiny house, then to have one that smoke comes out the chimney, how could I refuse? The cottage arrived quickly, and safely, and I tore into the packaging and lit the first turf before I'd recycled the boxes! I bought this for my Northern Irish husband as part of his birthday present. However, that isn't until the end of the month, therfore we haven't used it yet! But I'm sure it will be good, the delivery time was great though!
It'll be a great memory from his past.

been to a few traditional thatch roofed cottages in ireland and turf burning fires, the smell is so authentic, its amazing, few occasions I have been asked if I am burning turf in my own fire, so its a true smell of Irish turf!

I loved burning my little bit of turf, reminded me of the smell of Ireland when we visited my grandparents in the 1960's they always had turf burning on the open fire, brings back lovely memories of my grandparents their little cottage.
